Basic Training
Course description
ATCO Basic training course covers a wide range of topics related to air traffic control and aviation and are designed to provide the knowledge and skills necessary to pursue a career in air traffic control. Aspiring Air Traffic Control (ATCO) trainees begin their journey at the ATCO Basic Training Course which provides a solid foundation to ensure the advancement to an ATCO rating training course.
Course content
Trainees aspiring to a career as an Aerodrome Control Tower, Approach Control Unit or Area Control Centre, will attend the Basic Training Course that provides the groundwork of theoretical knowledge and basic practical skills as required by Commission Regulation (EU) 2015/340 of 20th February 2015 and ATCO Basic Training Plan - SM/17/0300/P1.
The course content is the initial phase of training towards earning a Student Air Traffic Controller license, encompassing subjects such as Air Traffic Management, Rules of the Air, Aircraft and other pertinent aspects required to be an effective Air Traffic Controller. The course broadly introduces trainees to all ATC environments – Tower, Approach and Area Control.
Our course design is interchangeable and can be customized to satisfy customer requirements – If the need arises to discuss various options, feel free to contact us. Additionally, we provide flight instruction to endow students with a broader and more expansive perspective.
CANI and the Basic Training Course are certified by the Czech Civil Aviation Authority in accordance with Commission Regulation (EU) 2015/340.
Prerequisites
The specific components of our service vary based on the requirements of our clients. Typically consists of FEAST testing and an assessment of English language proficiency in preparation for future ELPAC testing. Compulsory prerequisite is also Medical examination in compliance with Commission Regulation (EU) 2015/340.

Aerodrome Control Visual Rating (ADV) Training
Course description
Aerodrome Control Visual Rating (ADV) Training is a course designed for individuals seeking a career in air traffic control. The course is focused on providing knowledge and skills necessary to control aircraft movements on the ground, taxiing, takeoff, and landing in a Visual meteorological conditions (VMC).
Aerodrome Control Visual Rating (ADV) Training Course is to enable the aspiring trainee to earn a Student Air Traffic Controller license for Tower operation.
Course content
The trainee is at the forefront of our training program, current educational methods and universally recognized pedagogical concepts, this course equips ATCOs with the crucial theoretical knowledge and assessment skills needed to provide candidates with high-class theoretical knowledge and practical skills necessary to receive a Student Air Traffic Controller license.
The curriculum includes topics such as aerodrome layout, communication, phraseology, and procedures for managing aircraft on the ground. Participants will learn how to monitor and control aircraft movements, manage aircraft conflicts, and ensure safe and efficient ground operations. The course also includes practical training with the use of simulators and on-the-job training to gain hands-on experience. Upon completion of the course, participants will have the ability to provide Aerodrome Control services in a VMC environment and meet the certification standards required by national aviation authorities.

Course Description
Aerodrome Control Instrument Rating for Tower (ADI/TWR) Training is a course designed for individuals seeking a career in air traffic control. The course focuses on providing knowledge and skills necessary to control aircraft movements in Visual meteorological conditions (VMC) and Instrument Meteorological Conditions (IMC).
The goal of the Aerodrome Control Instrument (ADI) Training Course is to enable the aspiring trainee to earn a Student Air Traffic Controller license for Tower operation.
Course Content
