ATSEP Communication Rating Training at CANI for International Participants
CANI sucessfully delivered the ATSEP Communication Rating (COM) as part of the ATSEP Qualification Training programme.
The training focused on strengthening competencies in communication systems for air traffic safety electronics personnel (ATSEP). Participants represented a broad international environment, including organisations such as Austro Control, Ports of Jersey and Aero Vodochody Aerospace.
The Communication Rating covered key technical and operational areas, including:
- voice and data communication systems
- transmission paths and system infrastructure
- recording systems and operational interfaces
- selected topics related to data processing in communication systems
The training was structured through classroom sessions complemented by interactive discussions, supporting a comprehensive understanding of both technical system functionality and operational application. The programme is aligned with European regulatory requirements and EUROCONTROL specifications for ATSEP training, contributing to the development of competencies essential for safe and reliable CNS service provision.
This training reflects CANI’s ongoing focus on delivering specialised, internationally relevant and competency‑based programmes tailored to the needs of aviation organisations.
