ATSEP Data Processing Qualification Training: Bridging Theory and Practice
The Czech Air Navigation Institute (CANI) successfully concluded its ATSEP Data Processing Qualification Training, welcoming 13 students from leading European air navigation service providers – Austro Control and Skyguide.
Comprehensive Training Program
The 42-hour qualification training covered essential Data Processing topics including Data Processing Systems, FDPS, ATM Data, Aircraft Performance, Operating Systems, Software Development, and Functional Safety.
Theory Meets Practice
A highlight of the course was the TWR simulator visit, where students experienced how operational ATM systems integrate into training. They explored Electronic Strips, A-SMGCS, Weather information systems, and VCS – connecting theoretical knowledge with real-world applications.

The course participants showed exceptional interest in the subject matter, engaged in vivid discussions with our expert instructors, and highly appreciated the excellent course organization.
Following successful completion of the final examination, all participants received CANI Certificates of Successful Completion, marking an important milestone in their ATSEP careers.
